Preview Pane or occasionally dubbed preview tab is a part of Windows Explorer that first goes to the public on Windows Vista OS. But then this feature is quickly accepted by Windows 10. The user can enable preview pane with a single button near the Search bar of Explorer. However, the Windows 10 comes with redesigned interface and the way you using on Windows 7 no longer available on it. Then, how to enable preview pane on Windows 10?
How to Enable Preview Pane on Windows 10
In order to enable Preview Pane on Windows 10, open the Windows Explorer (Libraries). Move the mouse to the View tab and activate the Preview Pane features. Once it enabled, the selected file will show a preview on the right side of the window.
The Preview Pane works perfectly with these following kind of files, such as image, video, document, and music. Several third-party software also automatically integrated with the Pane once its file selected. The load times might be delays for a couple of seconds depending on the size of data.
By default, Microsoft fixed the Preview Pane size as one-third of the whole window area. But you able to resize it as you want by hovering the mouse pointer right at the thin line border and drag to the left or right to customize the space.
Resizing the Preview Pane much recommended while you open the image file because some of the file extension fail to provide borderline that play a role in resizing setting.
